The present study aims to evaluate the adaptability available to it, as well as the communication modalities, in order to find a method through which to make changes at relational level and to improve the communication between the preteen left at home and the departed parent. The research methods by which the case study data were collected were: BASC 2 test, anamnesis, interview, observation, activity product analysis. The results of the study show that, in the process of improving the capacity of school adaptation, following the emigration of parents, an essential role is played by the communication with the departed parent, the time allocated, the technology used, the frequency of communication with him. At the same time, the conclusions of the research affirm the importance of paying special attention to the children left at home, taking into account the potential of their increased vulnerability and the high probability that certain emotional deficiencies will arise in their development.","PeriodicalId":329234,"journal":{"name":"Pro Edu.
