The antenna has a symmetric configuration with low profile of 6 mm×5 mm printed on a 0.8 mm thick FR-4 board. The |S11| of the antenna varying with antenna size is discussed. The simulated −10 dB bandwidth of the proposed antenna is 2.1–2.65 GHz covering ISM band.
