A simplified fundamental frequency model of TCSC is proposed and the model results are verified, initially. This paper presents an analytical dynamic model for TCSC to demonstrate how it consistently behaves in the large power system networks and efficiently stabilizes its oscillations in the case of a disturbance. The model for possible undesirable interactions between the PSS-type damping controllers and the TCSC damping controller is implemented by using the multi-machine model in the design stage.
