This study was a quasi-experimental study with Posttest-Only Control Group Design by 2x2 factorial arrangement which involved a sample of 80 students. The data were collected by using vocabulary and reading comprehension test then analyzed by Two-way ANOVAand Tukey test. The result indicates that (1) there was a significant effectonreading comprehension between the students who were taught using the Jigsaw technique and those who were taught by using conventional, (2) there was a significant effect of the interaction between the implementation of teaching techniques and students’ vocabulary mastery on reading comprehension, (3) there was a significant effect in reading comprehension between the students with high vocabulary mastery who were taught by using Jigsaw technique and those who were taught by using conventional technique, (4) there was a significant effect in reading comprehension between the students with low vocabulary mastery who were taught by using Jigsaw technique and those who were taught by using conventional. 摘要

摘要本研究旨在探讨拼图技巧和学生词汇掌握对小学八年级学生阅读理解能力的影响。本研究为准实验研究,采用2x2因子安排,采用后验组设计,共80名学生。采用词汇和阅读理解测试收集数据,并采用双因素方差分析和Tukey检验进行分析。结果表明:(1)拼图教学对学生的阅读理解有显著的影响;(2)教学技巧的实施与学生的词汇掌握之间的互动对阅读理解有显著的影响。(3)词汇熟练程度高的学生在阅读理解上与传统技巧教学的学生有显著的差异;(4)词汇熟练程度低的学生在阅读理解上与传统技巧教学的学生有显著的差异。研究结果表明,拼图教学法在阅读理解教学中比传统教学法更有效。
