The main provisions of the calculation method and the results of numerical modeling of the process of compression of
the tubular shell of the tip onto a stranded wire by the pressure of a pulsed magnetic field are presented. The analysis of
the features of the deformation process at different intensity of force loading is carried out. The rational modes of loading
and the necessary conditions for minimizing the specific discharge energy while ensuring a high assembly density are
determined.
