Secured radio communication based on fusion of cryptography algorithms
This paper describes a hybrid cryptographic model for secured telecommunication in marine environment. The experimental process consists of four parts. The first step provides a secure way of sharing a key between Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) and Automatic Identification System (AIS). The second step enables them to exchange messages with communication safety, modifying original text to cipher one or reversely. The third step guarantees data integrity, checking whether the messages have been altered by hackers or not. The last step performs frequently replacing the key value in which has been used. The result from the fusion of the cryptography was simulated on Very High Frequency (VHF) devices.
