Analysis of linear induction motors for MAGLEV according to the secondary conductor structure
In this paper, single-sided linear induction motors (LIM) for magnetically levitated vehicle (MAGLEV) are analyzed according to the secondary structure. The secondary structure is redesigned to improve the performance of the MAGLEV. Finite element method is used in order to calculate thrust, normal force and electrical performance of the LIMs.
