An improved service scheme combinated SWAN with QoS-MSR in Ad-hoc networks
We proposed a new scheme, aiming to meet the needs of the real-time traffic, which needs higher bandwidth and bounded end-to-end delay. Because routing protocol plays an important role in the supports of QoS in the SWAN model for Ad-hoc networks, we assumed that the multi-path routing QoS-MSR introduced to the SWAN model. The advantage is that it can not only attach the information of QoS by using muti-path tables in the routing search process, but also adopt the algorithm of MBSR(Multiple Bandwidth Splitting Reservation). Simulation results indicate that the performance parameters of the network(end-to-end delay, throughput and so on) were remarkably improved in the proposed scheme.
