MEDICINE OF THE USSR AND CHINA IN THE 1950S: TRADITIONS AND INTEGRATION OF PRACTICES

Статья посвящена научно-историческому анализу потенциала китайской традиционной медицины, сохранившей в середине XX века большое значение для поддержания здоровья китайского населения. В ней не только привлекается внимание к проблеме трансформации медицинских традиций СССР и Китая в 1950-х гг. как интеграции практик, но и отмечается, что советско-китайское сотрудничество в сфере медицины в указанный период предполагало взаимный обмен достижениями. Через переосмысление отношения к значению традиционных методов китайской медицины автором определяются точки пересечения и возможности взаимодействия традиций и советских новаций в системе здравоохранения в Китае 1950-х гг., а также выявляются апробации методов китайской медицины в практике советских врачей. The article proposes with the academic and historical evaluation of potential of Traditional Chinese Medicine which managed to keep its importance in health support of the population of China in the middle of the twentieth century. The problem of the USSR and China’s medical traditions’ transformation as an  integration of practices in the 1950s as a period of an integration of practices, while pointing out that the Soviet-Chinese medical cooperation at that time was meant to exchange their achievements. By rethinking the importance traditional methods of Chinese medicine, the author defines the points of contact and cooperation between Chinese traditional medicine and Soviet medical novations in Chinese health care system in 1950s. She also explores the instances of practical approbation of Chinese medicine methods in the practice of Soviet medics.
