Global global changes in various spheres of human activity determined the need for innovative changes in the training of students. The need for the development of students ‘ intellectual abilities as moderators of world progress has sharply increased. The manifestation of the subjectivity of students contributes to the effectiveness of implementation in the surrounding society. The methodological orientation of the organization of the modern educational process at the university can be the ideas of personal development in modern society, the definition of the means of developing students ‘ personal functions, the definition of cognitive and personal components of the educational process. Prerequisites are being created for the creation of a new paradigm of education, which assumes the maximum development of students ‘ creative abilities, various types of their giftedness. It is supposed to change the content and technological component of the educational process associated with the digitalization of modern education. In the current conditions, the very concept of educational activity is gaining a new interpretation, in which individual forms of organizing the learning process are becoming increasingly important. Thus, the transformation of the pedagogy of literacy into the pedagogy of development, disclosure of creative abilities and giftedness of students can be realized. The importance of an intellectual resource in the competition between countries has made the problem of identifying and developing the talent of teachers and students one of the national projects in our country. The multidimensional nature of the phenomenon of giftedness has led to its study on the basis of an interdisciplinary approach from the positions of different sciences. The analysis of the genesis of this problem is contained in the works of various representatives of historical, psychological and pedagogical sciences. The emergence and development of creative abilities among individual representatives of society in ancient times appeared due to the improvement of tools and the separation of physical and mental labor.
