The article considers the system of training specialists in Lean. The purpose of the work is to define the concept of a Competence Center for Lean Manufacturing in high-tech industries based on world experience in lean manufacturing training. For this purpose, methods of analysis and synthesis, benchmarking, and strategic planning were used. The Competence Center is considered in conjunction with industrial partners, the university and the professional community of Lean. The article defines the levels of expertise of specialists in Lean, the ways of competence implementation with respect to international practice. This concept can be applied in the regional, federal and international competence centers in lean manufacturing, combining researches on quality management and lean manufacturing with solving practical problems of the industry.

In order to confirm the adequacy of the developed methodology for the numerical evaluation of innovation management systems, with the participation of the Russian Register Certification Association, an audit of the innovation management system in a technology company was organized and conducted. The paper presents the results of applying the above methodology when assessing compliance with the requirements of CEN/TS 16555/GOST R 56273.

The article discusses the mechanism of the influence of the concentration of charge carriers on the mechanical strength of silicon wafers under mechanical action. The effect of the hole concentration on the length of a micro crack and the mechanical strength of silicon wafers is considered. Structural defects (holes) are shifted to the region of higher mechanical stresses under mechanical action.

The article suggests the use of a promising technological process for manufacturing a cartridge case for sporting and hunting cartridges using the key operation of double-sided semi-hot extrusion with distribution. The advantages of the new technological process for the production of special-purpose products are justified. To test the cartridge case for the effectiveness of its operation when fired, the ANSYS finite element analysis software system developed a digital cartridge case double, which made it possible to demonstrate the impact of design changes, environmental conditions, and other factors on the product. The analysis of the digital double showed that the sleeve made using the semi-hot extrusion technology has sufficient strength.

Due to the current political, economic, and epidemiological situation in the world, the practice of total distance learning in Russian educational institutions (schools, colleges, technical schools, universities) has been implemented for the rst time. The authors of the study speak about the possibility of using this education format, emphasizing the necessary changes in the educational chain: «preschool - school - university education», associated with the formation of self-study skills, which were not systematically applied in the Russian education system before. The paper presents the data analysis of the distance learning introduction at the university. Based on the authors ' review of the literature, the study provides an interpretation of the main thematic conceptual units, describes the features of interaction and methods of work in this format. A poll was conducted among the students of a technical university who were on distance learning in the discipline «Foreign language» (including «Russian as a foreign language). The results of the poll analysis are shown in the paper. The authors consider the «majority factor» (the authors' term) as a positive result. The term is introduced to demonstrate the level of understanding and acceptance of distance learning in a certain percentage of students. Methodological recommendations on the organization of the distance education process for the students of university are given.
