The site data indicates that defects and accidents occur frequently in DC system and often become the hidden troubles of severer accidents of the power system. Therefore, the effective fault emergency strategy for substation DC system is particularly important. Based on the analysis of the composition and typical defects of the DC system, this paper discuses the fault emergency strategy for substation DC system from the following aspects: fault emergency power supply, fault emergency management organization flow and technical supports provided by intelligent inspection methods.
