Space is an interesting and challenging cognitive and interpretative category in organizational sciences and theory of innovation. But, it is a subject that is difficult to capture through its omnipresent existence. This paper is dedicated to an attempt to outline a map (model) of spaces in the context of organizations and spatial determinants of innovation. The described research is based on theoretical and empirical studies. The result is the determination of four dimensions of space (inner, global, virtual and contextual), as well as an attempt to relate these spaces to innovation processes.
