This paper proposes a broadband and compact antenna using metasurface. The metasurface consists of an array of rectangular metal patches. The conventional antenna has bandwidth of $\\vert \\mathrm{S}11\\vert< -10$ dB of 2.5%, while the proposed antenna has that of 11.8%.
