HbA2 and HbF were studied in 91 patients with different forms of psoriasis: 29 with psoriasis vulgaris placata (restricted forms); 31 with psoriasis generalisata and erythroderma psoriaticum; 21 with psoriatic arthritis; 10 with psoriasis pustulosa. Statistically significant increase of HbA2 was established in patients with psoriasis vulgaris placata (restricted forms) as well in patients with psoriatic arthritis. HbF is statistically significant increased in all forms of psoriasis. The authors suggest, that there is probably in psoriasis a disturbance in the synthesis of the globine chains, which is genetically dependent.
