The subject of the study contains 200 students in rural areas were selected randomly. English Learning Difficulty scale constructed and standardized by the researchers is used to collect the data. This study reveals that the English Learning Difficulty at the high school level is high. There exists significant difference between sub samples related to mother’s education, Parental occupation, Parental income and Class strength. 摘要

本文论述了农村学生在英语学习中面临的问题和困难。农村学生在第二语言(英语)的口语、发音、交流和写作方面面临着许多挑战。研究对象为200名随机抽取的农村学生。使用研究者自行构建并标准化的英语学习难度量表进行数据采集。本研究表明,高中阶段的英语学习困难程度较高。与母亲受教育程度、父母职业、父母收入和阶级实力相关的子样本之间存在显著差异。此外,在11个个人变量中,班级实力、父亲教育程度、母亲教育程度和父母职业4个变量是农村学生英语学习困难的正向预测变量,约占农村学生英语学习困难方差的23%。
