However simulation process for a complicated circuit may take significantly long time, which grows with increasing of model accuracy. Optimization process may call for simulation (depending on count of varying parameters, and circuit behavior) tens, hundreds or even thousand times. The two design requirements: create project in a reasonable time with a reasonable accuracy, conflict one with each other. In practice the design engineer insist on using the fastest simulation model possible. The trap associated with this approach is discussed in presented paper.
