Polarization-Spectrum Signatures of Above-Water and Surface Targets 水面和水面目标的偏振谱特征

The results of experimental study of backscatter spectral -polarization features from above-water and surface objects are presented. Investigations were carried out with coherent systems both with the pulse and CW modes of millimeter and centimeter wave bands (from 10 sm to 2 mm). The informative features are concerned with modulation both the amplitude and Doppler translation are condition on modulation of scattered signal at the stroke rate for the oared boat and the frequency modulation concerned with hands and lags move of moving man as well are ascertained. For the scattering from the object body the small level of depolarization factor of the scattered signal is typical. Ascertained that for the coincident by frequency spectral components of the signal scattered from the objects on orthogonal polarizations the high values of cross correlation factor is typical.

A New Method for Array Pattern Correction 一种新的阵列方向图校正方法

Mutual coupling causes in small antenna arrays distorted and correlated element patterns. To have more identical and ideal element patterns the array can be corrected computationally with a correction matrix. For microstrip arrays a new method to find a reference plane for pattern correction which uses the measured scattering matrix is presented. The method determines an optimum reference plane for which the imaginary part of the mean pattern correlation has a minimum. The computation is completed over a frequency band. The method is evaluated using several microstrip arrays with element spacings 0.3lambda ... 0.9lambda.

The hyperthermia (HT) treatment experiences in MSC MCC during years 1989-2006 has been described shortly. They included mainly, in chronological way, research on the prostatic and cervix cancer, employing superficial and intra urethral microwave HT, using BSD-300 and specially designed transurethral applicators as well as 500 kHz HT with original device HT-2. Especially promising results have been obtained for patients unfit for standard gynecological brachytherapy if synergy of HT and brachytherapy were applied.

Closely Spaced Paths Effect Mitigation for Indoor Location Systems 室内定位系统的密集路径效应缓解

Paper presents a proposal of method for closely spaced paths mitigation for indoor location system based on spread spectrum signals. At the beginning issue of closely spaced paths influence for the accuracy of TO A determination is explained. In the following part results of indoor propagation simulations are presented. These simulations show relationship between delays and directions of arrival of power delay profile components. The proposal of simple four-element null steering antenna array, which can mitigate this effect, is proposed. The paper contains also results of measurements showing influence of multipath propagation to coarse code synchronization.

A design and performance of the C-band, broadband, microstrip patch antenna for application in wireless LAN is presented. Feeding network with non-uniform power and phase distribution versus frequency was designed to provide beam shaping in elevation and azimuth plane. The simulated and measured characteristics of manufactured antenna as well as the parts of beam forming network are shown. Low cost mechanical design and materials have been applied.

At present the technology of identifying the objects by their radiation in radio band is developing rapidly. The use of submillimeter band allowed approaching the radio bright image to the photographic one. The use of decimeter and centimeter bands allowed identifying the objects under ground. In the article the theoretical foundation of identifying and recognizing objects on the ground, on water and under ground is presented. Estimated values of radio bright contrasts of various objects on the surface and under surface of the ground are presented. In the article the results of flight (aircraft and space) experiments of measuring radio bright image over ground, above water and under ground are given.

This paper shows the technical issues relating to the simulations of the communication microwave link between the ESMO (European Student Moon Orbiter) or the ESEO (European Student Earth Orbiter) minispacecraft to Earth. The paper presents the application of the Doppler pulse radar onboard the ESMO for the precise navigation above the Moon surface.

Scattering Equation Approach to Multi-Frequency Microwave Imaging 多频微波成像的散射方程方法

The paper presents an approach to microwave image reconstruction. The approach is based on scalar integral scattering equation under Born approximation. Scattering equation in discrete form is reduced to the system of linear equations, which is solved to obtain object image. Scattered field data gathered using multiple incident frequencies were used. Tikhonov regularization is used to overcome problem ill-posedness. It's shown that using approach proposed allows achieving better radial resolution compared to frequency domain approach.

Effect of finite screen and monopole's height on radiation characteristics of monopole antenna 有限屏和单极子高度对单极子天线辐射特性的影响

This paper presents the investigation results on the effect of separate element dimensions on the radiation characteristics of coaxial X-band monopole antenna. In particular, the variations of monopole height, ground-plane dimensions, and monopole location relative to the ground plane are analyzed in details. Based on FDTD simulations a contribution of EM fields scattered by these elements in the radiation pattern formation has been shown. As a result, the regularities in the elevation angle of peak directivity changing have been determined.

In particular, the variations of monopole height, ground-plane dimensions, and monopole location relative to the ground plane are analyzed in details. Based on FDTD simulations a contribution of EM fields scattered by these elements in the radiation pattern formation has been shown.
