The research was carried out with students at Süleyman Demirel University and Isparta University of Applied Sciences in Isparta, Turkey. A questionnaire was administered to 550 participants through face-to-face interviews. The data were analyzed with exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and regression analysis using SPSS. The findings indicated that four factors significantly affected workplace selection: career and development opportunities, institutional reputation, economic elements and working conditions.
