Thermal energy storage is a simple and effective technique to be applied to buildings to improve building energy efficiency, and is expected to reduce the environmental impacts associated with energy use. Thermal storage by utilizing phase change material (PCM) is the most promising technique because of its high energy storage capability and small temperature changes. The combination of building materials and PCM is an efficient way to increase the thermal energy storage capacity of building components for the purpose of storing thermal energy directly in buildings. In this study the results of testing the use of beeswax as a phase change material in building concrete are given. The test results of concrete equipped with beeswax as PCM decreased the strength of the concrete but on the other hand it was able to absorb and store heat energy. 摘要

世界建筑行业的能源消耗占总能源消耗的30%,占全球温室气体排放量的三分之一。热能储存是一种简单而有效的技术,可以应用于建筑物,以提高建筑物的能源效率,并有望减少与能源使用相关的环境影响。相变材料蓄热技术由于其储能能力强、温度变化小等优点,是最有前途的蓄热技术。建筑材料与PCM的结合是增加建筑构件的蓄热能力,达到直接在建筑内储存热能的有效途径。本文给出了在建筑混凝土中使用蜂蜡作为相变材料的试验结果。试验结果表明,加入蜂蜡作为PCM的混凝土在降低混凝土强度的同时,也具有吸收和储存热能的能力。在建筑中的应用分析结果表明,该方法能够降低室内冷负荷。
