The purpose of this study is to determine the students’ reading comprehension difficulties in Narrative text. This study use a qualitative research design. The sample of this research is Tenth grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah Bangkinang. In the study, the research use questionnaire as an instrument of collecting data. In analysis of data, the reseach steps are coding, data reduction, data display and conclusion. Based on the result of research through questionnaire, most of the student chose “Strongly Agree” with the statement that they haad difficulty in learning to read. 摘要

本研究的动机是学生在阅读理解叙事文本时所面临的困难,如寻找细节、翻译新词、寻找主旨和推断困难。本研究的目的是确定学生在叙事文本中的阅读理解困难。本研究采用定性研究设计。本研究的样本为曼谷穆罕默迪亚协会的十年级学生。在研究中,研究使用问卷作为收集数据的工具。在数据分析中,研究步骤是编码、数据约简、数据显示和结论。根据问卷调查的结果,大多数学生选择“非常同意”他们在学习阅读方面有困难。可以得出结论,其结果是学生难以理解长句子和文本,因为缺乏词汇,语法和记忆,在不知道主题和背景之前难以理解阅读文本,学生阅读缓慢而仔细,重读,用自己的话总结,翻译成自己的母语,理解文本和难以集中注意力
