This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Class VIII at SMP N 3 Fatuleu Tengah Satap, in solving patern and number sequence material questions the instrument provided in this study were 1) Critical Thingking test sheets, 2) Interviews, 3) Documentation. Documentation data analysis in this study,namely, 1) Data reducation, 2) presentation of data, 3) drawing conclusion/verivication based on data analysis, it can be concluded that 3 students with high mathematical abilities can go thourgh 4indicators and stages of the critical thingking process consisting of clarification (understand the problem), analysis (analysis the problem). 摘要
本研究旨在分析学生在解决法图列登加萨塔中学学生人数模式和数列数学问题时的批判性思维过程。本研究采用定性描述方法。在SMP n3 Fatuleu Tengah Satap的第八班,在解决模式和数字序列材料问题时,本研究提供的工具是1)批判性思维测试表,2)访谈,3)文档。本研究的文献数据分析,即1)数据还原,2)数据呈现,3)基于数据分析得出结论/验证,可以得出3名数学能力较高的学生可以通过澄清(理解问题),分析(分析问题)4个指标和阶段的批判性思维过程。中等数学能力的完成策略(解决问题)和推理(得出结论)学生只经历了澄清和分析阶段,而没有完成策略和推理阶段;数学能力低的学生,即解释了答题纸上的批判性思维,但回答不完整的学生。
