This study aims to find out whether the application of the PMRI learning model can improve the ability of mathematical connections and mathematics learning interest in SMP Muhammadiyah Kupang students. The research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the PMRI learning model. The subjects and objects in this study were 24 students in class VIIA Muhammadiyah SMP Muhammadiyah Kupang. Data collection techniques and instruments used by researchers are the final test questions to find out the ability of mathematical connections and questionnaire sheets to determine student learning interest. The data analysis technique conducted in this study is to draw conclusions from the data obtained, namely the results of the interview, the results of student evaluation and the questionnaire of mathematics learning interest. The results of research conducted in two cycles showed an increase in the ability of students' connections and learning interest through the PMRI approach. Mathematical connection capability test results increased with initial data with an average of 46.17 to 69.62 in cycle 1 then in cycle 2 to 77.29. And mathematics learning interest from the initial condition 41.66% to 70.83% in cycle 1 then in cycle 2 to 87.5%

The purpose of this study was to determine the development of a valid, practical and effective Problem Posing Modelas a learning tool. This research and development study (R&D) with 4-D have some phases, namely: define, design, develop, and desiminate. The data collection technique used test (description/essay) and non-test (tool validation and questionnaire). The data were analyzed through validity analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness analysis. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires,validation sheets, Lesson Plan, student’s worksheets, and test. The study showed that lesson plan is stated to be very valid with an average score of 90.15 in the k > 80 category andstudent’s worksheets is declared very valid with an average score of 84.58 in the k > 80 category. The students and teachers’ response are stated to be very practical with the average score of 80.55 in the k > 80 category. Besides, the effectiveness is declared effective seen from the students’ learning outcomes with 72% in the 60 ≤ p < 80 category. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning tool developed, Problem Posing Model is declared valid, practical and effective so that it can be used in learning mathematics.

This study aims to analyze how students’ critical thingking processes in solving mathematical problems on the subject of patterms and sequences of numbers of students at SMP N 3 Fatuleu Tengah Satap. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Class VIII at SMP N 3 Fatuleu Tengah Satap, in solving patern and number sequence material questions the instrument provided in this study were 1) Critical Thingking test sheets, 2) Interviews, 3) Documentation. Documentation data analysis in this study,namely, 1) Data reducation, 2) presentation of data, 3) drawing conclusion/verivication based on data analysis, it can be concluded that 3 students with high mathematical abilities can go thourgh 4indicators and stages of the critical thingking process consisting of clarification (understand the problem), analysis (analysis the problem). Completion strategies (solving problems), and inference (making conclusions) on medium mathematical abilities students only go through the clarification and analysis stages but do not fulfill the strategy and inference stages and students with low mathematical abilities, namely students who interprect critical thingking on the answer sheet but are incomplete in answering.

This study aims to explore the potential of ethnomatematics in Simalungun and the potential for integration of ethnomatematics in learning. This research is a survey research. The study was conducted in Simalungun with the selection of objects carried out by purposive sampling. The collection methods used in this study are observation, documentation, and literature study. After the data is collected then it is analyzed qualitatively. The study results were also conducted to find out the potential integration of ethnomatematics in learning to improve students' mathematical communication skills. The results of research that have been carried out, the musical instruments Sarune Bolon, Hasapi, and Taganning are closely related to the concept of mathematical flat figure. Ethnomatematics has the potential to improve students' mathematical communication skills, if integrated with appropriate learning materials and models.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi proses berpikir probabilistik siswa gaya kognitif field dependent dan field independent. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif eksploratif. Subjek dipilih menggunakan instrumen tes GEFT. Akurasi data dalam penelitian diperoleh menggunakan instrumen tes pemecahan masalah probabilistik, dan wawancara dengan responden. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dengan aktifitas yang dilakukan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses berpikir probabilistik subjek field dependent dalam menyelesaikan masalah cenderung pada kategori level berpikir subjektif dimana pemikiran subjek terfokus pada aspek-aspek yang tidak relevan dan sebagian besar terikat pada alasan subjektif. Proses berpikir probabilistik subjek field independent dalam menyelesaikan masalah cenderung pada kategori level berpikir kuantitatif informal dimana subjek menunjukkan penggunaan strategi generatif dan menyelaraskan pemikiran mereka tentang ruang sampel. Subjek dalam menentukan besarnya kemungkinan terjadinya suatu kejadian yaitu dengan menggunakan perbandingan, tetapi sebagian pemikiran subjek masih bersifat naive dan seringkali berubah dalam mengkuantifikasi peluang.

Islamic Elementary School Students/Elementary school Students need concrete objects in learning process, especially in learning mathematics. An interesting learning media makes students easy in understanding materials. However, there are many teachers still use conventional and traditional media such as textbooks. Teachers should modified the media to suit the this modern era. This study aims to determine the learning outcome of the first-grade students in MIN 3 Tapin using Dakon mathematics media. This study uses quantitative approach and a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all students in MIN 3 Tapin by total 184 people and the sample was the first-grade students in MIN 3 Tapin. Data collection techniques using test, interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique using t-test. The result shows that there as a significant influence between Dakon mathematics media and students learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the result of the t-test, namely t-count was 1,46 and t-table was 2,306. It’s found that t-count was 11,46 >t-table was 2,306 or t-count higher than t-table, its meant that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted.

Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of online learning during the pandemic. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The subjects of this study were 5 grade IX students of SMP Negeri 24 Tangerang. The data collection technique used a questionnaire questionnaire containing questions about student responses to online learning in mathematics. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the study are shown from the results of the calculation of the percentage of student responses to online learning in mathematics subjects is 60% with the qualification criteria "less effective". This happens because students are not motivated to participate in online learning, and when implementing online learning in mathematics there are still many problems faced by students including not all students have cellphones to carry out online learning, limited internet quota, unstable internet network, and students find it difficult to understand the material in mathematics. So, from the various problems faced by students during online learning, this is what makes the implementation of online learning less effective. Keywords: Online Learning, Pandemic Period, and Math. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemic. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 5 siswa kelas IX SMP Negri 24 Tangerang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kusioner angket yang berisikan pertanyaan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran matematika. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil Penelitian ditunjukkan dari hasil perhitungan persentase respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran matematika adalah 60% dengan kriteria kualifikasi“kurang efektif”. Hal ini terjadi karena siswa tidak termotivasi mengikuti pembelajaran daring, dan pada saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran matematika masih banyak permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa diantaranya tidak semua siswa mempunyai handphone untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran daring, kuota internet yang terbatas, jaringan internet yang kurang stabil, dan siswa sulit untuk memahami materi pada mata pelajaran matematika. Maka, dari berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa selama pembelajaran daring, hal inilah yang menjadi pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring menjadi kurang efektif. This happens because students are not motivated to participate in online learning, and when implementing online learning in mathematics there are still many problems faced by students including not all students have cellphones to carry out online learning, limited internet quota, unstable internet network, and students find it difficult to understand the material in mathematics. So, from the various problems faced by students during online learning, this is what makes the implementation of online learning less effective. \u0000 Keywords: Online Learning, Pandemic Period, and Math. \u0000 \u0000Abstrak \u0000Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemic. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 5 siswa kelas IX SMP Negri 24 Tangerang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kusioner angket yang berisikan pertanyaan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran matematika. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil Penelitian ditunjukkan dari hasil perhitungan persentase respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran matematika adalah 60% dengan kriteria kualifikasi“kurang efektif”. Hal ini terjadi karena siswa tidak termotivasi mengikuti pembelajaran daring, dan pada saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran matematika masih banyak permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa diantaranya tidak semua siswa mempunyai handphone untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran daring, kuota internet yang terbatas, jaringan internet yang kurang stabil, dan siswa sulit untuk memahami materi pada mata pelajaran matematika. Paper ini memaparkan hasil analisis terhadap pemanfaatan teknik cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) terhadap kecemasan matematis siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan teknik deskriptif analitik yaitu dengan mengumpulkan data kemudian dari data tersebut disusun, dianalisis kemudian ditarik kesimpulan. Dari beberapa data yang telah dianalisis, diperoleh bahwa teknik cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) bermanfaat positif dalam mengurangi tingkat kecemasan matematis siswa. Akar dari kecemasan pada siswa bermula dari adanya rasa takut akan suatu hal, dalam konteks penelitian ini yaitu matematika. Terdapat berbagai teknik yang digunakan oleh guru untuk memanfaatkan terapi kognitif-tingkah laku dengan jumlah sesi yang berbeda-beda. Dalam penggunaan teknik cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) orang tua dan guru matematika berperan penting dalam keberhasilan untuk menurunkan kecemasan matematis siswa. Selain itu, CBT juga memberikan dorongan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran atau konseling yang dapat digunakan dalam dunia Pendidikan.

Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa di SMP Negeri 21 Palembang dengan subjek siswa kelas VIII sebanyak 10 orang siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan data pada penelitian kali ini adalah dengan tes tertulis, dan wawancara. Tes yang dilakukan yaitu dengan pemberian soal-soal matematika model PISA, sedangkan wawancara yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pedoman wawancara tidak terstruktur. Teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari pengujian 5 soal tertulis, ternyata dapat dismpulkan bahwa rata-rata kesalahan siswa terbanyak yaitu pada soal nomor 2 sesuai dengan tipe-tipe kesalahan menurut Newman yaitu (1) kesalahan membaca sebanyak 8, (2) Kesalahan memahami sebanyak 10, (3) kesalahan mentransformasi 10, (4) kesalahan ketrampilan proses sebanyak 10, (5) kesalahan penulisan jawaban sebanyak 9. The aims of this research were to determine the appropriate, practicality, and effectiveness of learning video for lines materials and angles by using discovery learning model to improve mathematical problem-solving ability for seventh grade students. Method here was research and development using ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Population was mathematic teachers and seventh grade students SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta, Kupang. Sample was seventh grade students of A class. Trials was done to determine the practicality of learning video. Research instruments here was validation sheet, learning video, lesson plan, practicality sheet, questioner of study result test. the obtained data then analyzed its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Results: validity scores, a) learning video: 3.45, b) lesson plan: 3.59, c) teacher respond questionary: 3.5, d) student respond questionary: 3.5. The average score for validity was 3.45 and the category was very valid. The learning video got good respond and the score was a) 3.45 for teacher respond questioner, b) 3.56 for student respond questioner. The average score of practicality was 3.55 and the category was very practical. The appropriate of learning video was obtained from the effectiveness of student KKM (70) and the average score of student learning outcome was 73.33%. From the data of validation result, analysis of questioner and student learning outcome show that the learning video for lines material and angles by using discovery learning model was very valid, very practical and effective.
