Objective: This article presents a gateway selection approach for Internet of Things and introduces a selection method for the gateway location, taking into account the quality of its individual sections. Method: The method uses the Floyd-Warshall algorithm and at this end, a simulation model was developed using Mathcad engineering software. Results: As a result, for networks with a high density of nodes, this method allows the network administrator to select the gateway location and accurately select the geometrical service center.
