At the stage of development of society, the teacher’s level of professional competencies directly affects the development of both the younger generation and the education system a whole. For the national systems of teacher’s professional growth to be constantly improved, and one of the main participants – the teacher – develops, it is important to choose strategies aimed at successful development. The article presents the experience of such foreign countries as Finland, Norway, and Latvia designing strategies for the teachers’ professional development in the context of digitalization of education.
