The principle of clearance-seal was introduced briefly, and then the realization of the piston prover based on clearance-seal was discussed in detail. According to the experimental results, the repeatability and precision was superior to the soap film flow meter. Within the range of 5-500 sccm, the testing relative error is less than 1%o, which indicates the high precision of the device.
