Protectionism and competition in the agro-industrial complex

Practice shows that based on methods used and the results achieved, protectionism is a controversial mechanism of government economic regulation. Implementing protectionism contributes to pro-competitive development, as well as reducing competition. It opens up the prospect for further debates on improving national economic growth, as well as a selection of protectionist measures.
