It is necessary to study the vibration characteristics and damping performance of the spacer in the anti-vibration design of the transmission lines. The mechanism of typical structural damper spacers to suppress the aeolian vibration is analyzed, and the mathematical model of aeolian vibration of the damper spacers for multi-split conductors is established. The stiffness-damping method and damping method are used to carry out experimental research on the damping characteristics of the spacer.
