PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF DISABLED PEOPLE IN THE CONTEXT OF JOB SATISFACTION AND QUALITY OF LIFE

The study deals with the problem of professional activity of disabled people in relation to the quality of life and job satisfaction. 34 disabled people professionally active participated in the study. The “Job Satisfaction Scale” was used to assess the cognitive aspect of overall job satisfaction, the “Cantril Ladder” to measure the quality of life, and a questionnaire to collect metric data. Statistical inference tools were frequency distributions, Spearman’s rank correlation analysis, regression analysis, paired t-student tests, and the Kruskal-Wallis test. According to research results, the current quality of life of the respondents is moderately good, and the prognosis of future life is optimistic. Job satisfaction, which is significantly determined by the subjective assessment of income, is of significant importance for the quality of life. It is concluded that the quality of life, job satisfaction and economic working conditions are significantly correlated.
