The necessity to respect hourpsilas notifications, dispatch orders issues by balancing market and new rules for secondary control, have consequences on units operation mode. An optimal operation with diminishing of the unbalances can be achieved only on presence of power net loop control. Also, the specifying rules of the Commercial Code to report the net energy unbalances at the interface point with the transport grid has technical consequences on power loop control. The document focuses on technical requirements need to be implemented at units level especially in thermo power plants for its operation optimization. The paper present in comparative manner, the tests of behavior for thermal and hydro units in different (opening and power control) operational modes, for highlighting the advantage of power net loop control implementation.
