Microstrip patch antennas are relatively cheaper to manufacture and require less power. The proposed FSS structure is simulated. The resonant frequencies of this design are at 14.8 and 17.2 GHz, which are very close to each other. The microstrip antenna used has increasing demand as it can be directly printed in the circuit board.
