This aim compares the influence of three electrodes types on bio-oil yield. The electric field is non uniform field; rod-cylindrical electrodes. Cylindrical electrodes made of stainless which diameter is 50 mm with the length of 250 mm. Three rod electrodes types include stainless, copper wire and tungsten wire. Stainless rod diameter is 4 mm with 150 mm in length, the copper rod made of 0.1 mm copper wire rolls around bamboo stick with the total diameter of 4 mm and finally, tungsten rod made of 0.1 mm tungsten wire rolls around bamboo stick with the total diameter of 4 mm also. The experiment in pyrolysis process at 500°C with Nitrogen gas at IPSI pressure. The feed bio-mass rate is 100 g/hr. The bio mass size is 250-425 micrometer made of Cassava rhizomes and stems. The 12 KV DC voltage is supple for electrode testing at 2 hours. The bio mass feeder is 200 g. The current and voltage is measured to find conduction of pyrolysis gas. From experimental results, it is found that copper is highest current and then tungsten and stainless. The bio oil yield gotten by three rode electrode type; tungsten wire, copper wire and stainless are 63.54, 60.24 and 30.64 respectively.
