Firstly, this paper analyzes the reference scheduling mechanism for IEEE 802.11e to guarantee quality of service (QoS)and discuss the drawback of the sample scheduling algorithm for IEEE 802.11e Hybrid Coordination Function(HCF) controlled channel access(HCCA) mechanism under the background of HRT application. And then, this paper advances an improved scheduling algorithm for HRT traffic stream which sets up the messages HRT attribute and adjust the transmission opportunity dynamically, aiming to guarantee HRT messages QoS.
