This approach simplifies the implementation of the algorithm, especially in the diagnosis of non-linear objects. The use of position change of the input signal can reduce the hardware or software costs associated with the implementation of sensitivity functions or trial deviations of model parameters and simplicity of the algorithm calculating the normalized diagnostic sign.
