The purpose of this study was to examine the role of motivation in mediating the effect of training and career development on employee performance. The basic theory used to explain the conceptual model in this study is Maslow's needs theory. This research was conducted at Risata Bali Resort and Spa. Respondents in this study were all employees with permanent status with a total of 76 employees. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and interviews. The techniques used in this research are path analysis and sobel test. The results of data analysis show that training and career development have a positive and significant effect on work motivation, training, career development and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and work motivation is able to mediate the effect of training and career development on employee performance. 摘要

巴厘岛有许多从事酒店服务的企业,大多数人从事旅游业,因此,酒店需要注意其人力资源的绩效,以不断提高公司的质量。本研究旨在探讨动机在培训和职业发展对员工绩效的中介作用。本研究中用来解释概念模型的基本理论是马斯洛的需求理论。这项研究是在里萨塔巴厘岛度假酒店进行的。本次研究的受访者均为常住员工,共76名员工。使用的数据收集技术是问卷调查和访谈。本研究使用的技术是通径分析和索贝尔检验。数据分析结果表明,培训和职业发展对工作动机具有正向显著的影响,培训、职业发展和工作动机对员工绩效具有正向显著的影响,工作动机能够中介培训和职业发展对员工绩效的影响。通过优化培训和职业发展来提高员工绩效,从而提高员工的积极性和绩效。关键词:培训,职业发展,员工绩效,激励。
