[Effect of tar and dithranol on fibrinolysis in treatment of psoriasis].
There are well known side effects of drugs for topical use due to systemic resorption. In the present study, however, 36 psoriasis blood sera were examined before and fourteen days after the coal tar and dithranol (anthralin, cignolin) therapy onset to determine D and E fibrinogen fragments. These serum levels were compared with those in 36 blood donors. The higher levels in psoriatics and their causes are being discussed.
