The return loss of the proposed antenna and conventional antennas is investigated using the simulation package CST MW Studio ver. 3.2 and fabricated antennas. The effects of ellipticity ratio on the radiation pattern and reflection coefficients are described. The given structure can handle the average power of several hundreds of watts.
