O PAPEL DO DESIGN INSTRUCIONAL NO PROCESSO DE CONSTRUÇÃO DA EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA

Distance education is built in the scenario where complementary skills form the driving force of the teaching and learning process. In this context, the role of Instructional Design is not limited to only some of the niches of EaD production, it is active in the process as a whole when using its expertise to create solutions that determine the success of EaD in conjunction with other actants. It is not intended to exhaust all the stages in which the instructional design works, but it is hoped to expose the importance of this professional in the flow of the rich production of distance education.In this study will be presented the production flow of didatic materials prepared by the Material Production Team of the Departament of EaD of the Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina. Resumo. A educação a distância constrói-se no cenário em que competências complementares formam a engrenagem do processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Neste contexto, o papel do Design Instrucional não delimita-se em apenas alguns dos nichos da produção da EaD, ele é atuante no processo como um todo quando utiliza de sua expertise para criar soluções que determinam o sucesso da modalidade EaD em conjunto com outros actantes. Não pretende-se aqui esgotar todas as etapas em que o design instrucional atua, porém espera-se expor a importância deste profissional no fluxo da rica produção da educação a distância. Neste estudo será apresentado o fluxo de produção dos materiais didáticos elaborado pela Equipe de Produção de Materiais do Departamento de EaD do Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina.
