Orange peel is an industrial waste from juice processing so the orange peel extract is one of the possible ways for protecting mild steel from corrosion. Potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) showed that the OPE acts as bioinhibitor in the acidic media. The results showed that by increasing the inhibitor concentration up to 2 g L-1 and decreasing the temperature, the inhibition efficiency increased (>90%).
