Ismail","doi":"10.47672/AJSCM.319","DOIUrl":null,"url":null,"abstract":"Purpose: The main purpose of the study was determine role order fulfillment on performance of manufacturing firms in Kenya.Methodology: A descriptive research design was used. The target population of the study were managers or equivalent from Six (6) departments that is Procurement, finance, legal, stores, human resource and quality control because they are directly concerned with supply chain. The study adopted the use of a questionnaire and a document analysis as the main research instrument. The study adopted both quantitative and qualitative approaches, implying that both descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were employed. Quantitative data collected from the document analysis was analyzed statistically using the Statistical Package for Social Scientist (SPSS version 22). The study tested the significance level of each independent variable against the dependent variable at 95% confidence level using ANOVA, Correlation and regression techniques.Findings: The findings showed that order fulfillment has a positive and significant effect on firm performance, 0.723, p < 0.05.Unique contribution to theory, practice and policy: There is need to put in place review teams that constantly review the strategies with the view to improve them for increased effectiveness. 摘要
目的:研究的主要目的是确定角色订单履行对肯尼亚制造企业的绩效。方法:采用描述性研究设计。该研究的目标人群是来自采购、财务、法律、商店、人力资源和质量控制等六(6)个部门的经理或同等人员,因为他们直接与供应链有关。本研究采用问卷调查法和文献分析法作为主要研究工具。本研究采用定量与定性相结合的方法,即采用描述性统计与推理统计相结合的方法。从文献分析中收集的定量数据使用社会科学家统计软件包(SPSS version 22)进行统计分析。本研究采用方差分析、相关分析和回归分析技术,在95%的置信水平上检验了每个自变量对因变量的显著性水平。研究发现:订单履行对企业绩效有显著的正向影响(0.723,p < 0.05)。对理论、实践和政策的独特贡献:需要设立审查小组,不断审查战略,以期改进战略以提高效率。有效的成本降低机制,结合结构良好的组织采购政策和供应链管理实践,将消除有多个供应商来缓解不满意服务的概念。
