The International Solidarity Principles Upon Protecting Asylum Seekers مبادئ التضامن الدولي لكفالة حماية طالبي اللجوء

The lack of equity in asylum responsibility sharing within the EU has been a recurrent issue that requires immediate attention. This paper aims to contribute to the ongoing debate on European solidarity tools from a constitutional law standpoint, using the ideal of solidarity and fair sharing of responsibility as its starting point, as stated in Article 80 TFEU. This approach is viewed as a crucial strategy in both increasing justice in responsibility sharing and protecting refugees, according to the article. It argues thatthe principle of sharing responsibility and the principle of mutual trust have sparked widespread controversy on the international scene between supporters and opponents, and about their effectiveness in ensuring a minimum level of protection for asylum seekers and refugees.
