Electromagnetic Processes in the Energy-Efficient Phase Switch of an Electrical Submersible Motor
The article considers a switch that performs short-circuit of the phases of an electrical submersible motor in a single-phasing from the input terminals to specify its parameters by attenuation of the initial DC stator current. Electromagnetic processes are analyzed in the switch made on a single-phase bridge circuit on the key MDS transistors with reverse asymmetric pulse-width regulation, which provides an efficient and smooth control of the initial current from 0A to 20A with the smallest pulsations. A ratio is obtained for estimating the relative pulsations of the stator current. A cyclogram of the stator winding current is presented, containing two sections. The first shows the reversal of the magnetic circuit of the motor, the second characterizes the test mode, which is completed by the formation of a transient characteristic of the attenuation of the stator winding current.
