This advanced module features critical spacing for 2D arrays, an aluminum silicon carbide housing, multilayer ceramic substrates for RF and control circuitry, a custom hermetic DC multipin connector, high-performance MMIC LNAs (low-noise amplifiers) and power amplifiers, and specialized multifunction MMIC chips for a reduced parts count. Each of the two channels feature a selectable horizontal and vertical polarization capability.
