The purpose of this research was to find out whether with wise quotes, students' vocabulary understanding will increase or not. This research used a pre-experimental research method by giving a pre-test and post-test. The sample of this research is class VIII.7 SMP Negeri 35 Makassar in the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 20 people. This research uses SPSS v.16 which can show the results of the analysis of a significant increase in test scores and can prove the influence of this research. The results of this study indicate that the significance value is 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05, which means that this research has a significant effect. 摘要
本研究关注的是学生通过名言对英语词汇的掌握。本研究的目的是为了找出有智慧的语录是否会增加学生的词汇理解。本研究采用预实验的研究方法，进行前测和后测。本研究的样本为2021/2022学年的VIII.7 SMP Negeri 35 Makassar班，共20人。本研究使用SPSS v.16，可以显示考试成绩显著提高的分析结果，可以证明本研究的影响。本研究结果表明显著性值为0.000，小于0.05，说明本研究具有显著性效果。由此可见，明智的引语对学生的词汇理解有越来越大的作用，可以看出，通过明智的引语，学生在学习过程中会变得更有动力。
