摘要

素质教育的重点是培养学生的创造力,而培养创造力的关键在于培养学生的批判性思维能力。没有批评就没有创新,这已成为教育家的共识。在实际的英语教学中,批判性思维一直没有得到足够的重视。教师往往只关注学生的理解,而不太关心自己所教知识的真实性和价值。批判性思维是通过分析和判断进行反思,提出自己的观点并提供论据的过程。作为一种思维倾向,我们可以根据大环境对其进行正确的判断,引导其正确的发展趋势;作为一种思维技能,我们可以对固有思维模式进行有针对性的评价。本文通过对批判性思维教育内涵的探讨,分析了传统英语教学中存在的问题,提出了基于培养学生批判性思维的英语教学法的课堂应用策略,旨在培养学生的批判性思维,提高学生掌握学习主动权的能力。
