It is outlined that when developing the geodetic network of Afghanistan, it is useful to use the experience existing in other countries, but taking into account the territorial characteristics of the state. The basic development directions of the state coordinate framework are formulated: the choice of the state coordinate system and its implementation, the creation of geodynamic polygons, the installation of continuously operating reference stations (CORS) of GNSS. It is recommended to use high-precision differential correction services in inaccessible areas to determine coordinates using GNSS methods.
