The findings indicate that synchronous audio and video learning can be an effective alternative to traditional learning, especially for male students. Online learning success requires taking student demographics and digital equity into consideration in a competitive higher education landscape. In addition, the study recommends further research to determine the effectiveness of online learning across disciplines and diverse student populations. The findings of this study indicate that successful online learning outcomes in international educational settings require the incorporation of digital technologies and synchronous teaching methods.
