The content of seed germination biostimulators varies depending on the taxonomic position of the algae, the condition of the crops and the specifics of their cultivation. Treating the seeds of different plants with algal biomass, or with extracts obtained from it, has the effect of both stimulating seed germination and improving the physiological state of plants, increasing their resistance to environmental factors, increasing the quantity and improving the quality of harvests.
