The aim of this work was for assessment of the clinical characteristics of consecutive exotropia and evaluation of the results of surgery. Methods: This prospective cohort study was carried out on 30 patients with established diagnosis of consecutive exotropia after surgery for esotropia with deviation angle >10 PD Who met with the inclusion criteria, aged from 3 years to 25 years. Follow up of patients was done in the postoperative period for 6 months. Results: There were not statistically significant regarding preoperative angle, age of surgery for esotropia, limited adduction and different types of surgical procedure used.
