Additionally, the budget supports before/after and outside-of-school expanded learning programs. The study identifies increased funding for public universities and colleges in higher education, aiming to enhance affordability, expand student aid programs, and strengthen housing resources. The research also uncovers several challenges within California’s educational budget, such as a severe shortage of qualified and skilled academic workforce brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
